Medical insurance & cashless treatment support

Practical support for insurance coordination during planned or hospital-based care. Understanding insurance requirements while managing a health concern can be difficult. Sevagan helps patients and families coordinate with hospitals and insurers, organise documentation, and navigate the cashless treatment process.

How we help

  • Explain the process and help you understand what information to confirm with your insurer and hospital.
  • Support cashless approval documentation and coordinate with the relevant hospital and insurance teams.
  • Coordinate during hospitalisation and help track pending requirements or documents.
  • Assist at the hospital insurance desk, when required.
  • Help organise bills and claim-related documents for your records.

Documents to keep ready

  • Health insurance policy or e-card
  • Patient's photo ID
  • Doctor's prescriptions, reports and treatment advice
  • Relevant previous claim or policy details
  • Contact details of the policyholder or authorised representative

Before planned treatment

Coverage and cashless eligibility depend on your insurance policy, hospital network status, treatment, and insurer approval. Before admission, confirm:

  • Coverage and waiting periods
  • Policy exclusions and limits
  • Network hospital eligibility
  • Pre-authorisation requirements
  • Expenses that may remain payable by you

Important

Cashless treatment does not necessarily mean that all expenses are covered. Non-covered items, policy limits, deductibles or other applicable charges may still be payable by the patient.

Our role. Sevagan provides healthcare coordination and administrative support. We do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and insurance approval or coverage is determined by the insurer and applicable policy terms.

Questions

Common questions

Can’t find your answer? Call or WhatsApp us and we will help.

What if the cashless request is not approved?

Insurance approval or coverage is determined by the insurer and applicable policy terms. Depending on your policy, you may be able to pay the hospital and claim reimbursement afterwards. Keep every bill and document, and tell us what happened so we can help you understand the next step.

Which documents do I need for a cashless request?

Usually the health insurance policy or e-card, the patient's photo ID, and the doctor's prescriptions, reports and treatment advice. The hospital's insurance desk will tell you what else is needed.

Is there a charge for this service?

Yes. Sevagan provides professional healthcare guidance and coordination services for a service fee. The fee depends on the type and level of assistance required, and we will explain the applicable charges clearly before you proceed. Our fee is separate from charges by doctors, hospitals, diagnostic centres and other providers.
